Description
Chiltern is a quiet country town with a main street that looks not too dissimilar to how it must have looked one hundred years ago, the buildings are painted in shades of cream with deep green or maroon trim, very conservative. I turned into a small laneway and found this building adorned in its outrageous shade of magenta, well, outrageous as far as the rest of the town looks.

I was hoping to find something new in this gallery, but nothing as bold as this. Wonderful framing and textures. I like the hints I pick up in the window too. Wonderful work. L/F

Super! There's a lot of character down the road, Linda! My eye keeps traveling around this image over & over again: lots of little unusual bits to see, varying degrees of hues, textures. This one brave soul stood up to the masses, sure to be an interesting personality :))
Linda Lees replied:
Thanks so much for your lovely message Connie. I do wonder though whether this brave soul had second thoughts, the white down both sides of the door make me think maybe they thought about painting over the magenta.
