This photograph taken near Eldorado in NE Victoria Australia reminds me of the folk song Waltzing Matilda, the first verse is below
Once a jolly swagman camped by a billabong
Under the shade of a coolabah tree,
And he sang as he watched and waited till his billy boiled:
"Who'll come a-waltzing Matilda, with me?"
The term swagman refers to a transient person who traveled on foot carrying their bedroll, or swag.
A Billabong is word that is used for an isolated pond that is left behind after a river changes course.
A Coolabah tree is a variety of Eucalyptus tree
A Billy is a lightweight cooking pot used on a campfire.
