In addition to the banner, I am adding this more permanent recognition of its FEATURE on the homepage of A TREE OR TREES IN BLACK AND WHITE. I try mightily to feature only images that would be at home in a juried competition. No doubt that this image fits that bill. CONGRATULATIONS! And consider adding your image to DISCUSSIONS "Please post your featured photograph here" for greater, long-lasting visibility.

Linda Lees replied:

You are so very kind Calvin! Thank you for featuring my work in your wonderful group

Good title, like the Bob Seger song. Great perspective and tones. I'd probably get myself into trouble here, shooting where I shouldn't. This image does make me want to walk down the street. Excellent bw work Linda. l/f

Linda Lees replied:

I like Bob Seger also! You wouldn't get into too much trouble, as you can see, it's pretty deserted, everyone must have been inside. Thanks for your lovely message Glenn, I always enjoy reading them ☺

Linda I understand that...... but you captured it so wonderful and glad to see the places you are in:) I myself have lived in places like this even places without the main street when I was growing up ....... even if it was in Sweden The only difference is slight different design on telephone poles / wires at the top

Linda Lees replied:

Rosita, thank you so much for your lovely message. I live on 47 acres about 15km from a rural city, Wangaratta. There are many tiny towns like this one I photographed surrounding Wangaratta. I do like living in a rural area!
