Description

The Barmah Muster Yards came into being in the1880s. Cattle grazed on Common Land in the River Redgum forest. These yards were used to pen animals that were going to market or who were to be branded and sent back to the forest.

I could not remember if I had seen this, but I wasn't going to take that chance. The light and shadows in this are wonderful. An excellent choice to go with this tone, ties it to the time perfectly. L/F
