Description
In the late 1800s and early 1900s Fairy Dell at Clifton Springs was a popular spa destination. The springs offered crystal clear waters which were believed to have healing and medicinal benefits. A bottling plant and salt water and sulphur spas were built as well as a pier at which the steamers carrying tourist could dock. A huge hotel was also built on the site.
All that exists today are remnants of the piers and some bricks that remain from the bottling plant, but it's still a fascinating place to explore and a popular place for photography.
