Description
Remarkable Rocks are ancient granite boulders located in the Flinders Chase National Park on Kangaroo Island off the coast of South Australia.
This series of photographs was taken on Kodak High Speed Infrared Film during 2003. I've recently had the opportunity to scan the negatives making it possible to include these photographs in my online gallery. Features of infrared film are a "glow" around some objects and a grainy appearance which is unique to film photography. Infrared film is sensitive to a wider range of light than regular film and can record parts of the light spectrum that is not visible to our eyes.

Thanks so much Connie! It made me realise how many years I've been taking photography quite seriously when I looked back through negatives from the mid 1980s.

Thank you Joe, it's not one of Australia's well known tourist sites but well worth a visit.
