Description
These beautiful big horses were the backbone of Australia as they ploughed, harrowed, and harvested the crops that helped feed our young nation. They were quite often the only mode of transport for the families and carted the food and water, building supplies etc. to the vast outback homesteads.

As a big horse lover, especially the draft breeds and former owner of Belgians, this appeals to me so much as the other horse images you have Linda :). This is beautiful :)
Linda Lees replied:
They are marvellous big horses! Not having had any thing to do with horses, but these big draught horses, to me, always seem so gentle. Thanks for your kind comment Megan.
