Description
This rocky formation is part of the Devils Marbles located near Tennant Creek in the Northern Territory of Australia. The name, The Devil's Marbles goes back to 1870 when John Ross was quoted as saying "This is the Devil’s country; he’s even emptied his bag of marbles around the place!" To the indigenous people of the region, this is a sacred site and is known as Karlu Karlu.
