Thanks for the letting me know this info was here Linda. I like knowing what people are using for equipment and settings. Good to learn while looking at wonderful work. I was a Canon person for many decades until I started to using Fuji in 2013. I bought a 60mm macro about a year ago and it's nice but lacks OIS on the lens, and my bodies don't have it either. I've been looking at Fuji's 80mm macro which does have it. Plus it's a true 1:1 macro, while the 60 is half that. I want to get in closer, more abstract. Happy to hear all is relatively well there and the studies continue - G

I know I should wander more but I have to go with a macro at this point as that has been my path in the past year or so. That makes me look at this and think, "What f stop is she using? Tripod? ISO? Lens?" and on like that. It's been a challenge for me that you have a grasp of. Beautiful work. Sharp where it needs to be and as always, excellent framing. I hope all is well with you. I have followed your part of the world throughout this pandemic. You've been an example for many. One that is lost here in the states with so many not getting it and displaying bad manners and clueless behavior. Did this effect your degree work? Hope not. Be well Linda! L/F

It's always lovely to hear from you Glenn. Thanks for your kind message. For your information this shot was taken with a Canon EOS700D camera with a EF 100mm f2.8 macro USM lens. f5.6, 1/200, ISO 400. I only have three good lenses that I use most of the time, this one, a 50mm and a 10-20mm wide angle. Those 3 seem to cover most of what I want to photograph. All is good here thank you. Although I do live in the state of Victoria, and we are experiencing a second wave of the virus, but it is mostly contained to the capital city, we here in rural Victoria are fine. As my study is online, it hasn't been affected by the virus, luckily, as I'm nearly finished. I hope that you and your loved ones are safe and well.
