The Benalla Botanical Gardens, on the shores of Lake Benalla, were designed and developed in 1886-7 by Alfred Sangwell and are listed on the Register of the National Estate. The band rotunda dates from 1911

This photograph was taken in the early 1990s with Kodak High Speed Infrared film. I have a vast collection of negatives and I�ve had some of them professionally scanned to eliminate the need for a darkroom. One of the features of this film is a very grainy appearance.
