I would ride a bicycle to get a donut.. and justify it with this exercise! Totally makes sense to me! I can even smell the freshly baked bread! Yum! LOL Lovely vintage capture Linda!
Linda Lees replied:
Thanks so much for your lovely message Marilyn! Mmmm, donuts!!!!

Lovely capture , Linda - beautiful tones ... a bygone era missed by many, I'm sure. Love the bit of vintage signage here! Fresh air & (varying degrees) of exercise tend to make cyclists head of the deli lines ... eat to move, & move to eat ... a vicious cycle, that;)))
Linda Lees replied:
Thanks for your kind comment Connie. Most of Chiltern has this vintage feel to it.

A wonderful combination of nostalgia and modern day rationalizations. Great image and insight. I'm sure they worked off part of those sweets. : ) l/f
Linda Lees replied:
I'm sure they did too Glenn. Cyclists all seem to wear very clingy lycra and it wouldn't be a pretty site if they were carrying extra pounds ☺ Thanks for your kind comment
